Year 5 spent some time with a lady from Uganda to learn all about the jewellery worn by some people in Afrcia.

Battle of Britain

Year 5 worked really hard on their production 'Battle of Britain'.  They learnt all about key events during World War 2

Bring and Buy Book Sale

5B helped run the book sale and had great fun practising their selling techniques!

Changing Bracknell Tiles

As part of our Creative Curriculum topic, we have made some tiles showing various places in Bracknell - both past and present.  Keep your eyes peeled, they will be up around school soon!

Story Boxes - our Art project

As part of our Art work in Year 5, we have designed and made STory Boxes for Year 1 children.

Tasting World War 2 Food

We tasted Horlicks, spam and jam when we learned about rationing.

Willow sculptures

As part of the Creative Partnership scheme, Year 5 designed some sculptures.  One from each class will be made out of willow and be planted at the back of the astroturf.  The digging will start next term, so keep an eye out for the latest photos!

World War Two

Oliver's granny came in to talk about her experiences during World War 2.  She answered our questions and showed us lots of interesting artefacts.

Year 5's Harvest Assembly

Year 5 learned and performed poems based on our harvest theme of water, food and shelter

Year 5's Victorian School Day

We had great fun on our Victorian School Day - we all dressed up and had to do lessons such as dictation, singing and arithmetic.
